I am amazed at how well Alexandra Elbakyan has created and promoted sci-hub to fight these journal cash cows, and appalled at the way these journals have tried to block her. They now digitally watermark every journal downloaded at colleges etc, so they can ID the provenance of the journals = she must obfuscate this as best she can.
