It’s more in his own self-interest to vibe-code a rudimentary solution than to just support a good existing project, sadly.

This is 100% not true. On multiple measures of freedom the US scores around the 75th percentile if I remember correctly; I believe the category is something like “flawed democracy” on the economist’s democracy index, and that’s not even an publication that I particularly like. It’s not even in the top 30.

First worldwide? Are you on crack? Are you familiar with the country called North Korea? Or Saudi Arabia?

As a note, I think you meant authoritarian; authoritative means “preeminent/most trustworthy”

I thought the USA have more murders by cop per capita than both of those

You’ve got mountains of proof at this point. Recent Supreme Court rulings on presidential immunity should be enough.

Not everyone believes it, because it's too complicated for them to understand.

What terrorist is rooting for a government to eliminate private communication? For one, it makes their activities harder to carry out.

It inflicts terror, doesn't it?

If you make the government do your terror for you, you win. Like the TSA after 9/11.

What if the two groups are the same?

I love how you lumped “I’d like my literal children not to be killed because they might grow up to be ‘terrorists’” in with “death to secular society”

Which one is that?

FR lol, people in the US love to talk a big game but most of us take the freedoms for granted and will fold at the drop of a hat when real consequences are on the line

> Neither the Jews nor the Parsis nor the Christians ever made such an argument.

The argument that Jews need their own state specifically in the area between Lebanon, Egypt, and Syria is integral to Israel’s politics and history.

This has nothing to do with India. This is an argument the British and some European states made. India iirc recognizes both Palestine and Israel and most Indians are skeptical of Zionism, including the Christians. Once again American politics don't map cleanly here.

Since some people misunderstood what I am saying: when I saw 'the jews' I am referring to Indian Jews who were mostly indifferent to the whole Zionism movement. Of course many did exercise the right to return, but mostly for economic reasons during Indias license raj. For the most part, Jews lived happily in India without any issues.

>people in the West don't understand how awful radical Islam is

Do you remember that time two dozen or so years ago when a couple buildings collapsed in NYC? After some planes rammed into them?

And that is relatively benign compared to the constant barrage of foiled or successful terror attacks that India faces. Also, no one really cared when America went forward with a giant war of aggression against those people America labeled possible perpetrators

If you’re flying private customs is a joke. And/or your fixer just calls the local governor/embassy/etc.
