Give it some time and see how people will use it and problems emerging. I do feel that this will stay.

Actually deep reasoning, can't reason without comprehension. This will make sense for technical uses as it's intended. I can see this being very useful for code error mitigation and fixes.

Isn't the whole point of attention, some context comprehension in the stochastic parrot machine.

Yes, however I do suspect that at some point comprehension trumps context. Meaning it will be evedent giving the ability to increase comprehension and retaining whatever context you have goes a long way. I dont have the ability to play such large models. Within the means of my hardware I have already playd around with LLM enough to know where balances will start to cause confliction. Priotizing effeciency within the accuracy. This can mean compromising some other aspect of the AI, or this can be viewed as a positive interoperability.

> comprehension trumps context

Consider context as hyper-dimensional coordinate vectors gesturing at the starting concept cluster of a synthesis chain or thread to unspool.

If the model's comprehensive training activated by your context locates the right thread to pull, this could be considered comprehension? That it "got" it?

Just to mention the hosting of open-source software that isn't reliable. This not only creates a level of uncertainty, but causes lack of trust. The systems a whole is becoming neglected. Microsoft v=benefited from numerous open-source software, yet all there worried about is their subscriptions.

I think it's a great source for good information for specifics, but must know how to find the good papers and read them.

dedpends on your area of interests. Computer Science and yo ucan get more specifics like silicon methods or anything that has to do with that keyword. I look it up to see what new breakthroughs or ideas people are interested in. Then comes where does the research is hosted, from " University" , "large tech company", or independent. Also who is listed on the top. Must check the names to what other work they've have done, adds credit to the research.

more like walled off garden where they only, have access to children and what they watch. so now they will feed them the junk and ads curated only for children so they can get them hooked on products early on. Way to go Google yo uhave succeeded in your goal.

This falls Within my predictions of how the AI playing field is become more leveled, in terms with human digital activity. Soon it wouldn't be so what you can do with the computer but what the agent can do BETTER. We are already there for the most part. These are the early steps of full re-genitive self hosting, fully capable AI the is far more advanced then asking it to solve a 2 + 2 question.

The article worded it perfectly; friction-less "efforts"

its only going to get better from here. Its a great tool.

Universal technologies are increasingly becoming more desirable for devs the more I read about them.

I would give a look to the creators of SpacetimeDB and their game that they've developed. Some of their work utilizing Rust was interesting.
